John Harb is one of four children born to immigrant parents from Bethlehem, Palestine. His family established roots in Michigan and owned a small business in pursuit of the American dream. They remained in the Greater Flint Area through challenging times, but the family stayed intact. Eventually, John and his siblings grew into young adults and relocated, in-state and across the country. However, John learned early on that not all families are fortunate enough to grow up in the same household. Prior to joining the Firm, he served the families of Wayne County as a Staff Attorney in the Family Division of the Circuit Court. It was there that John realized the obstacles that parents face navigating through the court system, and decided to utilize his knowledge to benefit clients in private practice.
In addition to his legal experience, John has worked in the financial services industry and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baker College. John credits his business background in viewing cases from a unique vantage point. He also earned a Juris Doctor degree at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School where he was a finalist in Moot Court and Advanced Mock Trial competitions. John was awarded the Certificate of Merit for the highest grade in the class in four of his law school courses.
In his free time, John enjoys being active throughout Michigan’s beautiful seasons. Whether golfing or biking in the warmer months, or skiing and snowboarding in the colder months, John prefers being outdoors as much as possible. He also loves watching and attending sporting events, especially during the college football season.
