Brent Bowyer: Co-Owner and Partner ADAM, Southeastern Michigan
Brent Bowyer is a co-owner and partner of the law firm Bowyer, Midtgard & Nacy, practicing family law exclusively. Mr. Bowyer earned his B.B.A. from Western Michigan University and his J.D. degree from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Ill. He is admitted to the Michigan Supreme Court, Federal District Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Bowyer is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the Oakland and Wayne County Bar Associations.
Mr. Bowyer has practiced family law exclusively since 1996, litigating hundreds of divorce cases in that time. He has been a repeat guest on the Hardcore Mortgage and Business Show on 97.1 FM talk radio, and has been quoted as an expert in many news media articles including Metro Parent Detroit Magazine. He has also been a guest speaker on the national Fox News Network, and is a frequent speaker at the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section Mid-Winter Seminars.
Jon M. Midtgard: Co-Owner and Partner ADAM, Southeastern Michigan
Jon M. Midtgard is a co-owner and partner of the law firm Bowyer, Midtgard & Nacy. Mr. Midtgard graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University with honors and the Detroit College of Law; a recipient of a jurisprudence achievement award. Jon is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and Federal District Court. He has practiced family law exclusively since 1996, and has litigated hundreds of divorce cases in that time.
Jon is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, as well as the Oakland County Bar Association for which he has served on the Family Court Committee, American Inns of Court, Law Day Committee, and has participated in Bench/Bar conferences relative to family law. He is also a frequent speaker on family law topics for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education and a member of the Michigan Inter-Professional Association. Jon was a recent guest on the Michigan syndicated news talk radio show, WJIM AM 1240 with Michael Patrick Shiels. He is a repeat guest on the Hardcore Mortgage and Business Show on 97.1 FM, and he was a commentator on 'Due Process' WDIV Channel 4 Detroit

Elizabeth J. Nacy: Partner
Elizabeth J. Nacy is a 1999 graduate of Michigan State University, James Madison College, where she earned a B.A. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy with honors. Ms. Nacy earned her J.D. from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where she graduated cum laude and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2002. She is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court - Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
Ms. Nacy's practice experience includes Civil Rights and General Civil Litigation. She now practices exclusively in the area of Domestic Relations Law in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, Washtenaw and Livingston Counties. In 2008, she completed the Institute of Continuing Legal Education Family Law Certificate Program and is a member of the Family Law section of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. In 2015 Ms. Nacy became a partner of the Firm.
Tracey A. Kane: Associate Attorney
Tracey A. Kane is a 2004 graduate of the University of Michigan where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Ms. Kane earned her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2007. Since 2008 Ms. Kane has practiced exclusively in the area of domestic relations law in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb and Washtenaw counties.
Ms. Kane is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Young Lawyers Association. During her career, she has tried multiple cases involving issues including but not limited to child custody, parenting time, child support, change of domicile, property division, debts and alimony/spousal support. She has successfully argued before the Court of Appeals, resulting in the case being reversed and remanded to the Circuit Court.
Frank L. Briguglio: Associate Attorney
Frank L. Briguglio earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Oakland University with Departmental Honors and subsequently earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. Mr. Briguglio is licensed in the state of Michigan and in Federal Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. After receiving his degree, he furthered his education by earning a certificate in Family Law from the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
He was nominated as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and a DBusiness Top Lawyer in the area of Family Law. Mr. Briguglio is also active in the Macomb County Bar Association and currently serves as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section.
Steven D Reinheimer: Associate Attorney
Steven Reinheimer earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University in 1985, and his Juris Doctor degree from the Detroit College of Law in 1991. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1991; U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan in 1992; U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit in 1996. Mr. Reinheimer has dedicated the majority of his 25 year-plus law career representing clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and parenting time enforcement or modification. He also provides counsel for clients seeking to create, modify or administer wills, trusts and estates, guardianships, conservatorships, and powers of attorney.
A seasoned advocate in family law matters in Michigan, Mr. Reinheimer has served as vice-chair and chair of the Oakland County Bar Association Family Court Committee, and was elected by his peers for multiple terms as council member of the State Bar of Michigan Family Law Section, where he continues to serve. These positions put him at the center of helping to shape laws that impact family law practice in Michigan.
In addition, Mr. Reinheimer completed the Institute of Continuing Legal Education Family Law Certificate program and has attended the ICLE Family Law Institute every year since its inception in 2002. He mentors lawyers new to family law, and has been published in the State Bar of Michigan’s Family Law Journal.
Greg J. Calabrese: Associate Attorney
Greg Calabrese is a 2009 graduate of Albion College where he earned a B.A in Political Science and Sociology. Mr. Calabrese earned his Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 2012. Since then, his primary area of practice has been representing clients in family law matters such as divorce, child custody, parenting time, child support and spousal support in several southeast Michigan counties. Mr. Calabrese was recognized in 2017 as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
Michael A. Hoffman: Co-Founder of ADAM
Michael A. Hoffman graduated from Kenyan College and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1983 and the United States Supreme Court in 1994. Michael has devoted more than 20 years to strictly representing men in family law matters since he and partner, Douglas Wartell founded the American Divorce Association for Men (ADAM).
He is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the Michigan Inter-Professional Association. He has been commended by the Better Business Bureau, ALS of Michigan, Children's Wish Foundation and Metro Detroit Youth.
Douglas J. Wartell: Co-Founder of ADAM
Douglas J. Wartell graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1980. Since founding the American Divorce Association for Men (ADAM) more than 20 years ago, Mr. Wartell and partner, Michael Hoffman, have aggressively advocated men's rights in family law matters.
Mr. Wartell is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Michigan State Bar, and has been commended by the Better Business Bureau, ALS of Michigan, Children’s Wish Foundation and Metro Detroit Youth Day. Having appeared on numerous television and radio shows (including Bonds Tonight) as leading experts in domestic law, these pioneers have also been the subject of several newspaper and magazine articles, including the cover stories, “Revolt of the Ex-Husbands” (The Detroit Free Press Magazine), and “In the Domestic Garden of Eden” (Benchmark Magazine).
